AYSO Area 11 Z

Eligibility

All Area Tournaments are "Invitational" Tournaments. Teams eligible to participate in the Area Tournaments are the winners from each Region or as selected by the Regional Commissioner to represent the Region.

Each team participating must submit a completed Tournament Team roster, in player jersey number order, signed by the Regional Commissioner to the Area Director. The rosters may be submitted electronically or in person. Incomplete rosters will not be accepted. The roster information will be used to pre-print match line-up cards for each team and Match Report cards.

The Head Coach (HC) and Assistant coach (AC) of any team participating must be age-appropriate trained to be eligible to participate in the tournament. The coach and assistant coach must be Safe Haven certified and be identified on the team roster form. There must be a Coach and an Assistant Coach listed.

Points will be awarded for each match on a 10-point maximum system.

 Win = 6 points
Tie = 3 points
Goals = 1 point each (maximum of 3 points)

Ejections = 1 point deduction per ejection (player or coach only)

3.
Goals Against
4.
Most shutouts
5.
Goals For (maximum 3 goals per match)
6.

Game Conduct

Game Interrupt Explanation

Any coach, player, parent or spectator interrupting the game at any given time by entering the field of play without the permission from the referee shall be considered a game interruption.

Violent Conduct

Any team having violent conduct by their coaches, players, parents and/or spectators may be eliminated from the tournament after a review by the Area Tournament Directors for such conduct. Violent Conduct will not be tolerated by AYSO Area 11Z.

Registration Check-in

All teams must check-in at the tournament site of their first match at least one hour prior to their first match. At check-in, each team coach must present a copy of the signed eAYSO roster, player registration/medical release forms for each player with either original signatures or electronic signatures, and AYSO ID cards for each player, Coach and Assistant Coach. Failure to comply with these requirements will be grounds for individual player or team ineligibility from participation in the tournament. Coach and Assistant Coach must wear their ID cards on their persons during the duration of the tournament.

Forfeits

If a team forfeits one of its matches due to a deliberate "no show", then all the matches scheduled, either played or not, for that team will be recorded as forfeits. The score shall be recorded as 1-0 and a total of 10 points awarded to the non-forfeiting team. Accordingly, the Region of the forfeiting team will be subject to discipline and/or banned from participating in the corresponding 10U - 14U, 16U - 19U divisions within Area Tournament the following year.
